What is Talking With Stones about?&nbsp;An eco-somatic experimental workshop and dance/movement piece that explores the interconnectedness of humans with the more-than-human world. It embraces an animated and vibrant world in which every form of matter is alive. Stones are regarded as relatives, sharing stories of longing and belonging. Through gentle and deliberate movements, the piece represents an ongoing exploration of our relationships with the worlds- both- around and within us. It serves as a call to action, a tribute to love and community, and it is a quest for spirituality. In addition to the storytelling, the piece invites spectators to actively participate and co-create with their very own personal approach. Stepping out from a plain workshop perspective into a co-creating and immersive experience. The piece originated in the unique exhibition of the project CADAVRE EXQUIS and evolved into a travelling performative dance/movement piece which has been a listening session in Santiago de chile, a dance performance in turkey and a eco-embodied workshop in the LIOS Lab transformation Lab 2024.What we will do?Each session combines guided movement, personal reflection, and group conversation to uncover the wisdom stones hold. You’ll touch, hold, and interact with your stone, feeling its weight, texture, and presence. Through these sensory experiences, we’ll explore themes like shifting, grounding, falling and friction and connection. Get cosy in a glamping tent for you, and two or three more folks. It's spacious and comfortable, don't worry - they are 5m in diameter. There's a lamp to give you light, and a plug for your electronics. Usually the tent will be inside our warehouse.
